7) PICK-UP PROTOCOL(click here to return to the top of the page)

If you have chosen to pick up your CSA box from a pick-up site, please thoroughly read our Pick-up  below. Understanding and following these instructions is very important to the successful operation of our CSA! Not following them WILL LEAD TO PROBLEMS and chronic abusers may be asked to leave our membership.
1) Remember to pick up box!
a) You should receive a reminder via email, but it is ultimately your responsibility to pick                      up your share on the correct day and during the allotted pick-up time.
b) If you forget, we cannot replace, refund or give you credit.
2) When you first arrive at the pick-up site, look for your name on the checklist.
a) If your name is NOT on the list, DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING!
b) We only drop off enough boxes, etc. for the people listed. If you take something and
you are not on the list, you are taking someone else's share. Call us and we will find                       out the reason and work things out.
3) ONLY take what is listed next to your name.
a) This includes making sure of the size box hat you are scheduled to pick-up.
b) Also if you ordered any add ons.
c) If your name IS on the list but there is not a correct size left, it is okay to take the                          other. If your name is on the list, a share has been packed for you, so don;t leave
empty handed. Occasionally someone will take the wrong thing, so if there are now                         boxes left in your size, take the other size and then call us and let us know so that we
                  can work things out.
d) People can also forget to check their names off so do not assume remaining boxes                         necessarily map to the number of un-checked boxes on the checklist. If your name is                     on the list, take a share.
4) Keep the pick-up site neat and clean
a) Do not leave unwanted produce or trash at the pick-up site.
b) Leave empty box, unfolded and flattened in a neat pile.
5) If you cannot pick-up your box at the scheduled time:
a) Please call the pick-up site coordinator to inform them that you cannot be there
b) It will be up to the coordinator what to do with your box.
c) You will be charged the full amount for your missed pick-up.

8) DELIVERY FEE(click here to return to the top of the page)

If you are receiving your CSA box from a pick-up site, the delivery fee is $3.00 per box regardless as to the size of the box.

There is no delivery fee if you are picking up from Tanaka Farms' Produce Stand.

9) RETURN EMPTY BOXES(click here to return to the top of the page)

Please return your empty, flattened box when picking up your next scheduled CSA box.
