STRAWBERRY TOURS!

NO RESERVATIONS NECESSARY! Please arrive 20 minutes before departure to check in.

TOURS DEPART AT: 12pm & 2pm

What is it?

Tanaka Farms is famous for our delicious, sweet and juicy strawberries! The Strawberry Picking Tour allows guests to pick (and eat!) their own strawberries in the fields right where they grow!

How does it work?

Take a one hour long wagon ride around the farm. Learn about the farming methods and history of our farm from your friendly tour guide. You will see how fruits and vegetables grow! Throughout the tour, you will sample several seasonal fruits and vegetables. The last stop on this tour is in the strawberry patch where you can pick and eat strawberries!  Everyone will take home a one pound basket of strawberries!

How much does it cost?

Tour: $18.00 per person (2 years and under are free)

U-PICK VEGETABLE TOURS!

NO RESERVATIONS NECESSARY! Please arrive 20 minutes before departure to check in.

TOURS DEPART AT: 11am & 1pm

What is it?

This is a FREE, guided wagon ride around the farm, where you will be able to pick your own fresh fruits and vegetables in the field! This tour takes 45 min to 1 1/4 hours.  Remember to wear closed-toe shoes as you will be walking through the fields which may be muddy and uneven.  Also, the wagon ride and fields are not shaded, so hats and sunscreen are recommended.

How Does it Work?

U-Pick Tours are seasonal and take place when we have an abundance of crops. Times are announced when tours become available and no reservations are necessary; simply arrive 15-20 min prior to the announced time so you don't miss the tractor.

What Can We Pick?

Vegetable picking is seasonal and based on availability, but this week you SHOULD be able to pick: Cabbage, Carrots, Celery, Cauliflower, Romanesco, Romaine Lettuce, and Broccoli.

How Much Does it Cost?

The Wagon Ride is FREE! Pay for what you've picked at the end of your tour.  Everything is priced the same as our Produce Market Stand.  For example, carrots are sold by the bunch, corn by the piece, tomatoes by the pound.

This is a real working farm and tours are subject to weather and crop availability.  Check our website and Facebook for updates.
