FARM-TO-TABLE COOKING CLASSES

Tours Scheduled Throughout the Year

PLEASE CHECK OUR CALENDAR FOR DATES AND TIMES!

What is it?

The Farm-To-Table Cooking Class Tour is a unique Tanaka Farms experience!

Spend a few hours at the farm harvesting the vegetables needed to prepare a specific farm to table recipe developed to showcase the seasonal produce from Tanaka Farms!

This tour lasts 2 to 3 hours.

How Does it Work?

You'll take a guided walking tour around the farm where you will be able to pick your own seasonal veggies in the field.

We'll then take you to our cook out area where you will receive a live cooking demonstration, by Chef Joni Marie Newman or Chef Jim Gibbons, on how to prepare the dish. Once the cooking demo is complete, you will enjoy a farm to table meal featuring the dish created, seasonal fruit for dessert, and bottled water.

This tour lasts 2 to 3 hours.

What Can We Pick?

Vegetable picking is seasonal and based on availability, but U-Pick produce may include: carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, bell peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, Swiss chard, kale, and more. What you pick will be determined by the recipe.

How Much Does it Cost?

Cost is $30.00 per person (3 years and under are free) and includes the tour, lunch, veggies to bring home, recipe sheet, admission to the farm, visiting with our rescue flock of chickens, seasonal maze, and play area.

Do I Need a Reservation?

Yes. This tour is perfect for groups, families, field trips, birthday parties, and more. We sometimes offer this tour to the public, so PLEASE CHECK OUR CALENDAR FOR DATES AND TIMES!
