What is it?
The Farm-To-Table Cookout Tour is a unique Tanaka Farms experience!
Spend a few hours harvesting vegetables, then enjoy a farm to table meal!
How Does it Work?
You'll take a guided walking tour around the farm where you will be able to pick your own seasonal veggies in the field.
Then, we'll take you to our cook out area where we will prepare a lunch with grilled seasonal vegetables, farm fresh salad, seasonal fruit for dessert, and bottled water. You also have the option to add chicken to your meal for an additional fee.
This tour lasts 2 to 3 hours.
What Can We Pick?
Vegetable picking is seasonal and based on availability, but U-Pick produce may include: carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, bell peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, Swiss chard, kale and more. It's a surprise every day!
How Much Does it Cost?
Adults (13 & up) $30 each (Veggie Meal) OR $34 each (Chicken & Veggie Meal)
Children (4-12 years) $18 each (Veggie Meal) OR $20 each (Chicken & Veggie Meal)
Children (3 years & under) No Charge
and includes the tour, lunch, veggies to bring home, admission to the farm, visiting with our rescue flock of chickens, and play area.
Do I Need a Reservation?
Yes. This tour is perfect for groups, families, field trips, birthday parties, and more. We sometimes offer this tour to the public, so PLEASE CHECK OUR CALENDAR FOR DATES AND TIMES!
Public Drinking Water Is Not Available.
Bring your own or bottled water is available for purchase at $2.00 bottle.
FOR YOUR SAFETY we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Please avoid wearing sandals/flip-flops, open-toed shoes or high heels.
