Each season we celebrate the bounty! Festival opening day is March 9, 2019!
Join us on the weekends for one (or ALL!) of our seasonal harvest festivals and enjoy food, games, arts & crafts, visit with our rescue flock of chickens, take a farm tour, or shop with one of our local vendors.
When are the festivals?
Festivals happen ON THE WEEKENDS ONLY from 10am to 3pm. Each season has its own theme that celebrates what’s being harvested that time of year with special foods, games, arts & crafts, as well as guided farm tours. We’re always dreaming up new activities for guests to enjoy!
How much does it cost?
Admission to the farm: $4 (2 years and under are free) Includes visiting with our rescue flock of chickens, sunflower maze, photo opportunities, and play area. Active and retired Military personnel are eligible for FREE entry with ID.
Farm Tours: $18.00 per person (2 years and under are free) Active and retired Military personnel are eligible for FREE entry with ID.
Entry Package (weekends only): $20 (Save $2!) (2 years and under are free) Includes FARM TOUR, admission to the farm, visiting with our rescue flock of chickens, sunflower maze, and play area. Active and retired Military personnel are eligible for FREE entry with ID.
Activity Tickets (weekends only): $5 each or 5 for $20 (save $5!)
Food, games, and other activities are all priced separately.
Spring Harvest Festival
March thru June The spring harvest is bountiful! From carrots to kale, and sugar snap peas to purple cauliflower, to strawberries! There is so much growing this time of year! Take a STRAWBERRY PICKING TOUR, play some games, visit with our rescue hens, and make sure to come Easter weekend for an egg hunt right in the carrot patch!
STRAWBERRIES March-May Sweet, juicy Tanaka Farms strawberries are everyone’s favorite! Make sure to try out our signature Strawberry Lemonade, Strawberry Salsa, Strawberry Short Cake, and more from THE TANAKA GRILL. Make sure to take a STRAWBERRY PICKING TOUR!
Summer Harvest Festival
Late June-September The summer harvest is bountiful! From carrots to kale, and sugar snap peas to purple cauliflower, to strawberries! There is so much growing this time of year! Take a MELON TOUR or CORN TOUR, play some games, visit with our rescue hens, and make sure to come Easter weekend for an egg hunt right in the carrot patch!
CORN June-August Summer at Tanaka Farms means acres and acres of sweet white corn! Take a CORN PICKING TOUR, grab a fresh roasted ear of corn at the Tanaka Grill, and enjoy the laid-back easy life on the farm.
SUNFLOWERS July-August Walk through our field of Giant Sunflowers! Each of these beauties can grow up to 2000 sunflower seeds! Peak bloom lasts only about 2 weeks before the plants put all of their energy into seed production, so make sure to come throughout the season to see these magnificent flowers in all stages.
MELONS July - Mid-September Here at Tanaka Farms we grow many different types of melons, including our famous Yellow Watermelon! Join us for this summertime treat and enjoy samples of saticoy melon, pink honeydew, seedless watermelon, canary melon, and other summer produce on one of our MELON TOURS.
Mid-September - October Our world famous Pumpkin Patch is not to be missed! Unlike other pumpkin patches, set up in parking lots, here at Tanaka Farms, you can pick your own pumpkin right off the vine! FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE VISIT OUR PUMPKIN PATCH PAGE.
Fall Harvest Festival
November The pumpkin patch may be over, but the fall bounty is abundant! Enjoy the cooler fall weather and celebrate the fall harvest with us! Make sure to take a FALL HARVEST TOUR where you can pick your own vegetables!
Late November - Mid-December Families! Bundle up in your holiday sweaters and join us in November and December as the farm comes alive for the Christmas season with a special HOLIDAY SANTA TOUR and Sanrio Village!
Public Drinking Water Is Not Available.
Bring your own or bottled water is available for purchase at $2.00 bottle.
FOR YOUR SAFETY we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Please avoid wearing sandals/flip-flops, open-toed shoes or high heels.
