MONDAY THRU FRIDAY: Strawberry Tours - Walk-On Times - 11:30am and 1pm, No Reservation Needed

U-Pick Vegetable Tour - Walk-On Time 2pm, No Reservation Needed. Take a FREE wagon ride around the farm and make several stops to pick seasonal vegetables. Pay only for what you pick at our Produce Stand prices. Walk into the cornfield and pick your own sweet white corn! (Other vegetables may include carrots, romaine lettuce, and others, subject to crop availability.)

SATURDAY & SUNDAY: Strawberry Tours - Walk-On Times - Every half hour on the half starting at 9:30am, last tour leaves at 2:30pm, No Reservation Needed. Tours depart at 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm.

Corn Picking Tours - Walk-On Times - Every half hour on the half starting at 10am, Last tour leaves at 2 pm, No Reservation Needed. Tours depart at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm.

Father's Day Luncheon

Sunday, June 17th 10am-12pm & 1:30-3:30pm

Farmer Tanaka and Farmer Kenny are two Dads who want to invite you to celebrate Father's Day on the Farm with them! This special event takes place on our hilltop venue overlooking the farm. Enjoy a buffet of BBQ meats, farm fresh sides, dessert, and drinks. Dads and kids can enjoy games and activities together. After lunch, take a walk down to the strawberry fields and pick a few to snack on while you wait for the wagons to transport you down to the festival area where you are welcome to browse our Market Stand and Corn Festival and enjoy the farm. Registration is required.

Farm to Table Cooking Class Tour

Grilled Flatbread with Corn and Arugula Salad - Sat  6/23 & Sun 6/24 - 10am-12pm

Enjoy a walking tour around the farm as you collect the ingredients needed to create a Farm to Table meal. Return to the cookout area and learn to create a summer salad of Grilled Corn and Arugula and Grilled Flatbread with Cilantro Pesto. Cost is $30 per person (children under 2 are free) and includes a limited edition Sanrio and Friends Tanaka Farms reusable shopping bag, freshly harvested vegetables to take home, cooking class, and lunch at the end of class.

Hello Kitty & Friends Lil' Farmer for a Day - Hands on Workshop - 6/27, 6/28, & 6/29

Become a Lil' Farmer for a Day!

Farmer Hello Kitty and her friends need help on the farm!  Kids will love working and learning at this fun and educational workshop right here at Tanaka Farms!  You'll get to plant seeds, transplant seedlings, take care of plants and harvest vegetables. Enjoy the outdoors in this sweet partnership with our friends at Sanrio! Three dates to choose from. 9:30am-12pm

CORN FESTIVAL

Summer Harvest Corn Festival

Every Weekend in June from 10am - 3pm

Sweet, sweet ears of corn - enjoyed so many ways!  Summer at Tanaka Farms features acres of corn.  Come and enjoy a day with lots of food, drink, games, crafts, samples, face-painting, vendors, ATV rides, wagon rides and more!

Strawberry Tours 2018

Saturdays & Sundays every half hour on the half from 9:30am - 2:30pm

2018 is our 20th year of running Strawberry Tours here in Irvine!  If you have not yet experienced this tour, we invite you to visit us this year!  Take a wagon ride around our 30 acre farm.  Your friendly tour guide will tell you all about our farm's history and farming methods and show you what's growing.  Sample the seasonal vegetables next to where they're grown.  The last stop is the berry patch where you will learn how to pick the best strawberries.  Our strawberries are responsibly grown and safe to eat right off the vine.  Pick and eat berries while you fill a container to take home.  This tour is 1 hour and great for all ages!

Cost is $18.00 per person (2 and under free)

Tours depart at 9:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, and 2:30pm.

NO RESERVATION REQUIRED. Please arrive 20 minutes beforehand to check in.

Corn Field

New! Summer Harvest Corn Picking Tours

Saturday, June 23 & Sunday, June 24, every half hour on the hour from 10am - 2pm

Summer at Tanaka Farms means acres and acres of sweet white corn! Now Taking Group Reservations

If you are planning a field trip, birthday party, or other large group to visit our farm, we offer group rates.  To qualify for a group rate, you must make a reservation in advance and bring either:

  • 10 or more paying children.  The group rate is $14 per child and $7 per adult (no basket).
  • 15 or more total people.  The group rate is $14 for all people in the party (children and adults).

Tour Reservations:

Weekdays (Mon-Fri):  Unless noted otherwise, reservations are required for ALL parties. Strawberry tours only.

Weekends (Sat & Sun):  Reservations are not needed UNLESS requesting a group rate.

Our reservations agent is available Monday through Friday 9:30am to 4:30pm at reservations@tanakafarms.com.  Please allow sufficient time to book your request.

By subscribing to our CSA program, you will receive a weekly or bi-weekly box of responsibly grown, fresh picked produce.  You can receive a box near your home or work:

  • Pick up here at the Tanaka Farms 7 days a week - no delivery fee
  • Pick up at one of 40+ drop off sites, including most Whole Foods locations.  Sites are located from south OC up to the South Bay - $3.00 delivery fee
  • Home delivery to select cities around Irvine - $10 delivery fee

Mini (4-5 items vegetable only, no fruit) - $17

Small (6-7 items) - $22

Large (10-11 items) - $33

Public Drinking Water is NOT available.
Bring your own water or bottled water is available for purchase at $2.00/bottle.

Dress Code:
FOR YOUR SAFETY we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Please avoid wearing sandals, flip-flops, open-toed shoes, or high heels. 

Insurance Policy:
In complying with insurance policies, and for your protection, PETS and WAGONS are prohibited.
