Strawberry Tours 2018

Tours Saturdays & Sundays every half hour from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm

No reservation needed.  Arrive 15 minutes before tour time.

2018 is our 20th year of running Strawberry Tours here in Irvine!  If you have not yet experienced this tour, we invite you to visit us this spring!  Take a wagon ride around our 30 acre farm.  Your friendly tour guide will tell you all about our farm's history and farming methods and show you what's growing.  Sample the seasonal vegetables next to where they're grown.  The last stop is the berry patch where you will learn how to pick the best strawberries.  Our strawberries are responsibly grown and safe to eat right off the vine.  Pick and eat berries while you fill a container to take home.  This tour is 1 hour and great for all ages!

Cost is $18.00 per person (2 and under free)

This is a real working farm and tours are subject to weather and crop availability.  Check our website and Facebook for updates.

TABLE FOR TWO Hello Kitty Onigiri Rice Ball Workshop

With a mission to promote healthy eating and provide healthy school meals and food education to children in need, TABLE FOR TWO is one of the most well-known and fastest growing non-profit organizations in Japan. The workshop at Tanaka Farms will be a hands-on exercise in making onigiri—a Japanese rice snack made from white rice, formed into triangular or cylindrical shapes and often wrapped in nori (seaweed). The workshop will show you how to make cute Hello Kitty shaped onigiri as well. Fresh fruits and vegetables from the Tanaka Farms gardens will be used as the ingredients for this special Sanrio-themed, onigiri-filled bento box.
