"Farm to Table" Cookout Tour

Upcoming Dates:

Spend a day at the farm to harvest, prepare, and enjoy your entire meal!  Take a guided walking tour around the farm to pick your own seasonal veggies from the fields.  We'll take you to our cook out area to wash and prepare your veggies to be BBQ'd with the help of our staff. You'll have the option to add chicken to your meal as well.  Enjoy your personalized veggies with additional grilled veggies, farm salad, a fresh fruit dessert, and bottled water.

Price:  $18 per person, ages 2 and under FREE.

Register today for "Walk the Farm" on June 17th!

What is Walk the Farm?  Tanaka Farms in conjunction with the Orange Coast Optimist Club has held this annual charitable event since 2011.  On this special day, participants take a 1.5 mile walk around the farm to enjoy booth after booth of delicious samples, exhibits, live entertainment, crafts and more. There is even more food and excitement at the end of the walk!  All of this is included in your registration fee. Walk the Farm was born from a cross-cultural desire to help farmers rebuild in the tsunami devastated areas of Japan and the efforts there continue. We are grateful for the service organizations, volunteers, sponsors, and the registrants who donate their time and resources to this event. Produce Stand Open Daily 9:00 to 5:00

Tanaka Farms produce ready to buy in our market stand. 

Current harvest - week of 5/15:

Strawberries, cherry tomatoes, kale, broccoli, green cauliflower, purple cauliflower, large Maui onions, baby Maui onions, zucchini squash, yellow squash, snap peas, green beans, carrots, cilantro, Swiss chard, Romaine lettuce, arugula, kohlrabi, fresh basil, sugar cane, green & purple cabbage, red beets, gold beets, baby bok choy.  Also in the market this week - organic blueberries, grapefruit, oranges.

Daily selection depends on the harvest.

We also have chocolate dipped strawberries, El Nopalito chips and salsas, Old Town Bakery breads, nuts and dried fruit, farm exclusive jams, local Honey Pacifica honey, and kitchen gifts and toys.

Public Drinking Water is NOT available.
Bring your own water or bottled water is available for purchase at $2.00/bottle.

Dress Code:
FOR YOUR SAFETY we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. Please avoid wearing sandals/flip-flops, open-toed shoes or high heels. 

Insurance Policy:
In complying with insurance policies, and for your protection, PETS and WAGONS are prohibited.
