It’s Melon Season!

Farmer Kenny here. Melon season has officially kicked off at Tanaka Farms, and I couldn’t be more excited. There’s just something about a sweet, sun-warmed melon that says summer’s really here.

Thanks to some great weather and a lot of hard work from our team, the fields are full of some of the best melons we’ve grown yet. We’ve got everything from juicy red seedless to crisp Canary melons and even those bright yellow watermelons that are as sweet as they look.

Our produce stand is now stocked with hand-picked melons, harvested right at peak ripeness. You won’t find fresher anywhere else. Give us a call before you come to make sure we’ve still got your favorite in stock.

Starting July 12, our Melon Tasting Tours are back! You’ll hop on a wagon and head out to the fields with one of our guides, where you’ll get to try all kinds of summer crops—sweet white corn, several types of melon, and more. You’ll even get to harvest a veggie right out of the ground and take a melon home at the end of the tour.
