The Story of Hikari

“Hikari” means light in Japanese, and our festival is all about celebrating the warmth and brightness that the holiday season brings. What began as a small farm selling fresh Christmas trees has now grown into one of Orange County’s favorite holiday events, where families gather to create joyful memories. At Tanaka Farms, Hikari reflects our roots, our community, and our shared hope for a bright season ahead.

Take a cozy wagon ride through our dazzling light displays, stroll through our walking paths filled with themed lights, enjoy farm-fresh holiday treats and hot cocoa, and explore our festive Holiday Market filled with the smell of the season. The Hikari: Festival of Lights opens the day after Thanksgiving and runs throughout the holiday season, with evening hours perfect for enjoying the lights. Tickets are available online in advance. Parking is available onsite, and our farm is stroller and family friendly.
